We are very sorry for the service outage you experienced this morning. The outage was the result of a hardware issue with one of our servers. At the same time a configuration error prevented fail-over to our other servers. Our team is reviewing the methods we use to optimize our services to ensure this will not happen again.
We did have several clients request that we provide notification when there is a service outage. We are already looking into a new Help Center and other solutions for accommodating this request. We will be updating our Help Center in the next few weeks and hope to use this as an opportunity to provide a better solution for keeping you informed about our services. In the meantime, please rest assured that we do constantly monitor all of our servers and are usually aware of any potential issue well before it impacts your site. We are also continually updating and optimizing our systems to ensure the best possible service and minimal downtime.
