To edit an active talent post on your Talent Showcase, select a talent post to edit from the list on the right. By default, all active talent posts are displayed.

Clicking on the title or the "Edit" icon will open the talent post for editing.

Clicking on the "Duplicate" icon will make a copy of the talent post and open that new post for editing.

The Actions menu

You may perform a variety of actions against multiple talent posts by using the Actions menu. Select the talent posts that you want to edit by checking the checkbox next to those posts, and then press the Actions menu button.

Feature: Select this option to feature all of the selected talent posts. Featured talent posts are tagged for inclusion on the Featured Posts landing page, and may also be included in a featured RSS feed for placement on your website or feeding to social media.

Bulk Edit: Select this option to “refresh” the date posted or expiration date on all of the selected jobs, or to feature or archive several talent posts all at once.

Archive: Select this option to archive all of the selected talent posts. Talent posts are not deleted from the Talent Showcase - which will allow for fully functional historical reporting. Instead, you may choose to archive older talent posts or talent posts that you do not want to appear in your active or expired talent lists.

Sorting the talent list

You may sort the list of talent at any time by pressing the Sort button. The options to sort include by title, location or date added. Using the sort feature with the filtering options will make it easy to find the talent post you want to edit.

Filtering the job list

To the left of the talent list is the filter sidebar. Using the filter options will allow you to search and find the talent posts you need to edit more efficiently than just scanning the complete list. By default, the filters are set to display all active talent in the brief view.

You may enter any keyword to search for talent.  The keyword search will return any talent that has the keyword in the title, bio, skills or testimonial.  Hint: If you use the candidate numbers field on your talent, using the keyword search to find a particular candidate number is the fastest way to find a particular talent post.

The bio of the candidate on the talent list is hidden by default.  If you would like to have these details displayed on the talent list, select Yes to View Details.

By default, only active talent is displayed on the talent list and are therefore returned on a keyword search.  To include expired or archived talent posts, check the appropriate checkbox under the general filters. You can also choose to display only drafts, pending talent or featured talent as well. Combining these general filters can be useful to limit the list to only those posts you need to repost, review or edit.

Additional filters are available based on the settings you have selected for your Talent Showcase, including category and location.  These may be labeled differently depending on your Talent Showcase settings.

Note that these filters are closed by default. Click on the arrow to the right of the filter label to open the options.

To apply any of the filtering options, you must press the Update Results button at the bottom of the filtering sidebar.

Editing an Archived or Expired Talent Post

To edit a talent post that has already expired or has been previously archived, use the filters at the left to display the Expired or Archived posts, then the select a talent post to edit from the list on the right and make the necessary edits as described above. To unarchive a post, change the status in the green Actions box to Draft or Published and save the post.

To repost an expired talent post, just set the Date Posted and Expiration Date and save the job.

Refreshing Talent Posts

To make a talent post appear new, you can update the date added field. To repost an expired talent post, change the expiration date. If you're refreshing more than one talent post with the same information, you can simply select the posts to be updated by checking the checkbox to the left of the post title in the talent list, press the Actions button, select Bulk Edit, select the new date added or expiration date, and press Save.  This will update all selected talent posts with the new dates and the posts that were previously expired will appear on your Talent Showcase.
