8:43 AM EST We are seeing "Service Unavailable" messages on websites, job boards and HaleyMail. You may occasionally see the message “An internal server error occurred" when trying to access or edit your website. Please be assured that we are aware of the issue and we are working to find a resolution to the problem.

The issue this morning is caused by a DDoS attack from multiple servers attacking WordPress across dozen of sites.  Our technical engineering team is actively working on this.

A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack is an attempt to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple sources. They target a wide variety of important resources, from banks to news websites, and present a major challenge to making sure people can publish and access important information. Unfortunately, these attacks have become common with more than 2000 daily DDoS attacks world-wide and over 1/3 of all downtime incidents are attributed to DDoS attacks.
